Why this exists.
Every Nigerian SME owner I have ever worked with told me the same thing in different words: "I'm drowning." Drowning in WhatsApp messages at 11pm, drowning in invoices that took 90 days to collect, drowning in 412 unread emails by Tuesday, drowning in stock counts that nobody had time to actually do, drowning in leads that never got followed up.
The Western solution to this is to hire — a VA, a junior, a full-time ops person at ₦300k/month. The Lagos solution is to grind until the founder burns out, then hire reactively when something breaks. Both are slow. Both are expensive. Both miss the deeper truth: most of the drowning is the kind of work an agent can do.
AI AUTOMATION exists to deploy those agents — properly, for Nigerian inputs, with the right integrations (Paystack not Stripe, WhatsApp BA not Slack-as-CRM), in the right languages (Pidgin and Yoruba and Hausa, not just English), under the right legal scaffolding (NDPR, CAMA, FIRS). The goal is simple: buy your week back.
How this is structured.
AI AUTOMATION is the operating name of Ranked Technologies Limited (RC 9522220 · TIN 2622442676747), a Nigerian-incorporated company headquartered in Lagos. I am the founder, sole signatory, and senior auditor on every engagement we currently run.
We are deliberately small. Two pilot operators in production today, naming policy is publicly stated at the bottom of this page. We will name them at month 4 with their written permission — not when our marketing team thinks the case-study is sexy.
What we won't do.
The "no" list — published, enforced in code
Saying yes to everything is how Nigerian agencies build pipelines they can't deliver and reputations they can't recover. We say no, in writing, to:
- Autonomous tax filing on TaxProMax — requires CITN licensing. Our Document Intelligence Agent drafts the VAT/WHT/PAYE schedules; your licensed accountant submits.
- Autonomous fund movement — no AI-initiated transfers, no automated trades, no FX swaps. These are licensed activities we leave to licensed actors.
- Standalone NDPR certification — we're engaging a NITDA-licensed DPO partner this quarter. Until then we build the data-mapping and DSAR pipelines, but we do not co-sign Compliance Audit Returns.
- Autonomous medical ordering — pharmacy ops use our Document Intelligence Agent for prescription parsing; the pharmacist makes the order.
- Scraping where prohibited — no automation that violates platform ToS (no WhatsApp grey-API, no LinkedIn auto-DM at scale, no Instagram automation that ignores Meta's policy).
The pilots in flight.
Honesty on pilots, since our entire site is built around the principle that anonymous case-studies are how customers get burned:
Each pilot is bound by a written naming policy: name + sector + headline metric can be published with their consent at month 4 of the engagement. Some pilots choose to extend the embargo; we respect that. The number of named clients on this page will go up only as written permissions come in — never as a marketing flourish.
Team roadmap.
Solo for now. The senior-auditor work, the agent build, and the client comms all sit with me. This is a deliberate constraint — every dollar we charge has to be deliverable by people who exist. Hiring plan once we're consistently shipping 3 named pilots / quarter:
- Senior agent engineer — to take on the build-side once pilot 04 is signed.
- Client success / pilot lead — once we're running 5+ concurrent engagements.
- DPO partner — engagement this quarter, named publicly within 14 days of signing.
